The highlight of the evening was recognizing our incredible award recipients:
MMSD Senior Partnerships Coordinator Sonia Spencer won the People Award, honoring her work cultivating relationships with local business, organizations and community leaders that strengthen the entire district.
Lincoln Elementary fifth grade DLI teacher Kirsten Fruit won the Purpose Award for her commitment to student learning and outcomes, constantly tweaking her lesson plans and activities to ensure her students can always connect to their material.
Lake View Elementary Principal Nou Vang-Vue won the Pride Award, recognizing all the work she has put in to make the Hmong bilingual program at Lake View a success and honoring her as a leader who strengthens MMSD’s future.
Each of these outstanding leaders exemplifies the dedication and student-centered advocacy that makes MMSD stronger every day. Congratulations to our winners!
